Remember to come to class prepared to dance!!! Hair pulled off face and secure, no JEANS!!! I know as it gets colder it is very tempting to wear your favorite Step N' Time hoodie in class but, please be sure in the winter months to be dressed for dance under the warm clothes!!!

Creative Movement/Dancekids/Ballet
Shoes: Pink Leather Ballet Slippers
Leotards and tights are always best! Remember it is to your benifit to wear appropriate clothing so that the teacher can make proper corrections. If you are wearing sweatpants, I can't see the lines of your legs to be sure you are using the correct muscles! Leg Warmers/Ballet Skirts/Ballet Sweaters are acceptable!

Tiny Tap/Tap 5-11
Shoes: Black U-shell Buckle Tap
Leotards/Tights are encouraged. You can wear dance pants if you would like as long as they do not cover your shoe. Long pants can get under your taps and cause injury!

All Jazz Classes
Shoes: Tan Jazz Boot (Tie up or pull on) We will be gradually switching to Tan Jazz Boots this year to accomidate costumes
Leotard/Tights Encouraged! Jazz Pants are acceptable! In some rare cases, classes may need to have nude jazz boots for recital to compliment a costume, but before that happens, it would be discussed with the parents!

Hip Hop 7-11
Shoes: Black Jazz Boot or Hip Hop Sneaker of Tan Jazz boot depending on class!
This class has a bit more freedom then the others but it is still important to feel like a dancer! Leotards/Tights are encouraged and remember I still need to see the lines of your body in hip-hop to be sure you are moving correctly!

Hip Hop Int/Adv
Shoes: Please see Instructor
Please be a role model for the younger dancers! Leotards/Tights encouraged!

Tap Int/Adv
Shoes: Black Oxford Jazz Tap (Bloch brand of taps preffered)
Dance Clothing encouraged, tap isn't only your feet, I still need to see the lines of your body to make corrections!

Lyrical Shoes: Tan Lyrical Sandals, Dance Paws, or Tan Grecian Sandals
Leotard/Tights are strongly encouraged as this is a ballet based class.
